   Create an account with MSN (go to www.msn.com, click "sign in" then click "sign up".)

   Wait for the confirmation e-mail. (This can take up to 10 min)

   Go to www.xbox.com and click register.

   Enter your information, pick a name, avatar, etc.

   Enter your MSN registered address.

• You can create an adult account by typing down a different year of birth. This will let you play M rated games. After the account is created, even if you're a minor you won't have any issues with playing or downloading any M rated content.

• Don't use X's, too many numbers, 1337 speak, or "scope", "MLG", "kitten", "sexy", or similar. This will make other gamers not take you seriously.
